Explore the spectacular Arctic landscapes on snow and ice, relax around a bonfire, enjoy local, homemade food, bath as Fins do in wood heated saunas and chase the Northern Lights (the Aurora Borealis) with us. Snuggle down in our cozy log cabins and when you are ready take up any of our mini adventures we have waiting for you - ice fishing, snow shoeing and much more. Meet our neighbours from the Lappish village nearby and learn about life in the arctic wilderness. We are far removed from the tourist spots and here you really can unwind, savour your surroundings and slow down. In February the days get longer, the sun shines and the nights are still crispy. Don´t forget your sunglasses!

Your host and her family have been running exceptional nature-based adventures for many years and knows how to look after you. Your will be welcomed as a friend and be able to explore and embrace this magical area.
Your host moved from crowded Middle-Europe back to Finish Lapland in her mid-twenties. The forest, the nature, the silence drove her decision to return to the arctic wilderness. She will show you her huge joys in her private wilderness. She loves biking in summer and in winter snowshoeing, cross country skiing, hiking, swimming, rowing, canoeing, hunting, fishing, picking food from the outdoor and the ever important time for relaxation in the sauna.
You will be staying approximately 1.5 hours from Rovaniemi in typical Finnish log cabins and a traditional farmhouse by a glistening lake in the middle of private wilderness. The accommodation is equipped with luxury beds, bedding and textiles from natural materials as the core values are sustainability, locality as well as ecological and easy-going lifestyle. The saunas are ones you´ll find only in private finish homes.
