What is Slow Adventure?

Slow Adventure offers a better type of adventure travel that helps restore the natural balance between people and nature and enriches the lives of all involved.

We believe in empowering local communities to choose how visitors engage with their natural environments, and all slow adventures are designed and delivered by our local experts.

By choosing Slow Adventure you contribute directly to the regeneration of the area you visit and become part of the slow adventure movement.

Core team

Slow Adventure Ltd is born out of our founders' experience and expertise as pioneers in the slow adventure movement. We’re now growing the slow adventure movement to enable adventurers to buy into a new type of tourism that’s good at its core and effects positive change for people and planet.

I'm honoured to be living and breathing the Slow Adventure movement each day. Adventure travel can be a force for good if we choose to change and protect all that we love about this planet.

Having owned a successful rural restaurant, I know how difficult it is to run a seasonal business in a remote area. Creating high quality local jobs in fragile rural areas is a key motivation for me.

Local SLOW EXPERTS

Local partners are your main points of contact for enquiries and bookings. They are carefully selected to work with small-scale suppliers in their area to create beautiful, immersive experiences that align with the principles of slow adventure, helping you to make meaningful connections with nature and local culture. With their local knowledge, you can also learn about and choose to support local impact projects that contribute to the conservation, sustainability and regeneration of these wild places. Our team is growing all the time, so keep an eye out for new partners coming soon.
