Our in-destination local partner, Ellen, has worked with Jon to create this breathtaking adventure in Jamtland, Harjedalen. Ellen moved to Funasdalen in the west of Harjedalen six years ago and considers it the best move she has ever made! In her own words, Ellen describes her local area as a place full of wonderful people, good food and never-ending adventure. Jon, a native of Funasfjallen, will be guiding you into and across the Swedish mountains. Jon is a mountain professional, a fantastic chef and one of the few local activity providers who speaks the traditional Jamt folk language Harjedalska.
We are proud to work with local partners and members who share our passion for slow adventure, sustainability and regeneration. With help and recommendations from Ellen and Jon, we have a number of conservation projects in Jamtland Harjedalen that you can support by booking with Slow Adventure.
