The Museu de Camins is an open-air museum. A complete network of maintained and restored Pyrenees paths in the Vall de Siarb (Pallars Sobirà). A framework that allows you to immerse yourself in the uses, techniques and stories that have filled the rural world with life for centuries.

This not-for-profit was established in 2009 to protect, conserve and enhance the natural cultural heritage of the Àger Valley. This project aims to understand and re-establish more sustainable water management systems in the Montsec and Serra de Montclús areas which suffer severe droughts.

As a landowners' cooperative with more than 300 shareholders and 1,550 ha of water surface area which include lakes Ojajärvi, Saarijärvi, Impiöjärvi, Saunajärvi and Hietajärvi, southern Simojärvi with its rivers, the organisation manages the flow and state of fisheries.

The Natural Heritage Foundation protects over 130 conservation areas. When you make a donation, it will be used to buy old-growth forests that are in as natural a condition as possible, and permanent protection will be sought for the areas in accordance with the Nature Conservation Act.

The IceWatch Project

Vatnajökull National Park is the largest in Western Europe and covers nearly 15 thousand km2 or 15% of area of Iceland. It was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2019. The Slow Adventure impact fund will support a wide range of activities and maintenance work carried out every year.

Funäsfjällen, in the west of Härjedalen, receives a large number of visitors all year round. The Västra Härjedalens Bygdesamrådsgrupp needs to run a maintenance programme which depends on voluntary contributions.

The Muskox are on the verge of extinction in Sweden because they aren't protected. In 2013, Härje's firstborn daughter, Idun, moved from the protection centre to the wild herd, here in Härjedalen. There are only around 11 wild muskox in Sweden.
