Experience Hornafjörður through the eyes of local guide, Hulda, who will help you connect with nature through the practice of outdoor yoga and mindfulness. Hike through glacier eroded hills with views over the outlet glacier. Spend a unique time kayaking and island hopping in the sea-lagoon before hiking in the "Silent Volcano", an extinct volcanic area, where you're invited to your guide's summerhouse for a peaceful afternoon and outdoor cooking. Hulda has a passion for healthy living in the outdoors. Breathing in the fresh air, smelling the salt of the ocean, feeling the wind in your hair, hearing the crunch of your footsteps in the snow, admiring nature’s everchanging colours, tasting the berries and mushrooms you pick – these small gestures remain a constant wonder to Hulda. Arndis has worked with Hulda to give slow adventure guests the privilege to experience the Hornafjörður region through the eyes of a unique local soul.
