Almost at the centre of the Alpine arc, Val Masino climbs northwards on the watershed towards the Swiss border. Imagine a mountain hut in a nature reserve. Now imagine a climbing and yoga retreat surrounded by a unique natural environment made of foaming torrents, waterfalls, small lakes, green pastures, and amazing crags - a beautiful rare beauty. You’ll be introduced to both top rope climbing, bouldering, and safety, and find out how climbing is the ideal environment for creating a strong mind-body connection. Combine climbing with Hatha yoga to help you notice the smallest details, lightest sounds, and skills to focus - the perfect combination for rock climbing.

Clara, our in-destination Local Partner has worked with local qualified and experienced guide Davide and yoga teacher Michelle, to create this breath-taking slow adventure. Davide has spent his life in the mountains. From a young age he helped his uncles with the cows in high alpine pastures and this evolved into a love of hiking, running, ski mountaineering, and climbing. Davide is a passionate climber because we learn something new about the crag and about ourselves each time. By managing our mind to control our fears, we empower ourselves to reach new heights that are otherwise left unexplored. For Michelle, through the movement and teachings of yoga, we explore our potential and carry this into our climbing, creating a dialogue between body and mind. Both disciplines combine breath, mind, flexibility, balance and strength. We learn to listen to calm the mind, to remain present in our body, and let go of our fears.
